Covid 19
Darren Potter Osteopathy understands the fear and concerns felt due to the current Covid 19 pandemic. We have allowed a 15-minute gap between patients for cleaning, disinfection, drying, and airing of the treatment room. It is also our policy to ask all patients to wear a face-covering during their treatment and use sanitising hand gel prior to their appointment.
We ask all patients to only attend for an appointment if they are well and not displaying signs or symptoms of Covid 19 and that they follow current Government guidance to help reduce the spread of the virus.
Patients will be assured to know their Osteopath will be wearing appropriate PPE, currently defined as a medical face mask, gloves and apron, alongside the regular washing of hands this is as recommended by public health England and the Institute of Osteopathy.
A Covid 19 screening form will be sent by email to all patients prior to their appointment. Where this is not possible it may be completed over the telephone prior to the start of the appointment. Patients displaying signs or symptoms of Covid 19 or unwilling to follow this guidance will unfortunately not be able to be treated at this time.
To maintain a safe environment we are unable to provide towels. If patients wish to bring a clean laundered towel with them to their appointment they are welcome to.
